CineMart has announced the first five projects of its 2012 Selection. All five were selected in the Boost! coaching trajectory organized by Hubert Bals Fund, CineMart and Binger Filmlab. The full line up of the CineMart 2012 Selection will be announced by mid-December.
“Times are changing fast, and opportunities abound” moderator for the day, and independent producer with Smarthouse Films, Danielle Guirguis proclaimed as part of her summing up to the 20 or so participants, filled to the brim with news, reports and announcements that comprised Part 2 of the recent Binger Filmlab / MEDIA Desk Nederland initiative on the business of new media.
Binger filmmakers Adina Pintilie, Martijn Maria Smits, Niles Atallah & Lucie Kalmar have been awarded production and development awards at the TorinoFilmLab Meeting Event, which wrapped its 4th edition Tuesday.
That it’s not all grey skies and falling leaves this autumn in Amsterdam is confirmed by our Binger filmmakers who always know how to impress us gathering awards, prestigious festival selections, financing for their projects and some even getting them into Hollywood. Needless to say: We’re amazingly proud.
