Company!

Company! focuses on Dutch production companies and producers. Like all Binger labs, Company! is a project-based development program. In this case, we’re looking at the company as the project. The lab will not particularly be focused on the processes around producing a single film, but rather on the company as a whole. Where it is now, and where to take it in the future.

Together with key-professionals from all around the world, the lab lets you discover your unique personality as a producer and gives in-depth attention to business models, (new strategies for) distribution, marketing and branding, pitching, working with writers and directors, organisation, management, human resource management, international financing, (copy)rights, negotiation and talent development.

The process will demand and use a hands-on approach.

Company! has deliverd a great group of producers in June 2011. Please check our website regurlarly when we will offer Company again. Company! takes place over the course of one year with several workshops at Binger Filmlab, each on a monthly basis.

Profile applicants

Company! is aimed at producers based in the Netherlands with substantial producing experience. Preferably, they own a company or are soon starting one.

The programme is open for producers working in the field of fiction films, documentaries and animation.

Producers should be able to make clear that they are at a stage in their career where they are looking to further refine their skills to strengthen the long-term viability and growth of their production company rather than looking for an opportunity to generally learn about producing.

Company! is organised in cooperation with FNP (Netherlands Feature Film Association).
